Predictions

I haven't fully broken down the brackets yet, so my opinion might change come Thursday. In general I like the 2 seeds. This isn't earth shattering, but I have more faith in these 4 teams as a group than I do the 1's. West Virginia in particular, I think they have what it takes to win it all. Great coaching in Bob Huggins. Height, depth, athleticism....they have all that. Then they have the one thing I love most come tourney time, the one thing that seems to go overlooked year in and year out: they have the experienced senior who loves taking the clutch shot. His name is Da'Sean Butler. He had 2 game winning shots in the Big East tourney, and if any games are close in the next month he will be the guy taking the shot. So I like WVU winning the tourney with Butler as the MVP. To round out my final four I'll take Syracuse, Ohio St., and Villanova. Kind of chalky for my taste, I usually like to pick a 3+ seed to make some noise but I'm not seeing anything that jumps out. Maybe Michigan St, Notre Dame, or Louisville? Who cares, just play the games already!!
